How Our Warranties Works
At Pallc Decks & Fences, every project we build is backed by our 18-month workmanship warranty. This warranty is our promise to you that the work we performed was done correctly, safely, and with long-lasting craftsmanship.
Our goal is simple: if something goes wrong because of the way it was installed, we’ll fix it, at no cost to you. Just contact us and let us know what the issue is, we will take care of the rest and honor our warranty.
What Our Labor Warranty Covers
Our workmanship (labor) warranty protects you against any issues that occur because of the installation process.
This includes problems caused by:
- Incorrect installation
Improper alignment or leveling - Structural issues resulting from labor
- Components that fail due to workmanship
- Any part of the project that was not installed according to our standards
In simple terms: if something isn’t right because of how it was built, we’ll come out and make it right, free of charge.
What Our Labor Warranty Does Not Cover
While we stand behind our work 100%, some issues fall outside of what a labor warranty covers, such as:
- Damage from weather, storms, or natural events
- Damage caused by misuse, impact, or accidents
- Wear and tear over time
- Material defects (covered by the manufacturer’s warranty)
- Shifting caused by ground movement or soil conditions
- Changes, repairs, or additions made by another contractor

How Long Your Labor Warranty Lasts
Your workmanship warranty lasts 18 months on all projects:
- Fences: 18 months
- Decks: 18 months
- Porches, Pergolas & Shade Structures: 18 months
This warranty reflects our commitment to quality because we use in-house specialists and do not outsource our work.
Material & Manufacturer Warranties
When investing in a new fence, deck, porch, or shade structure, it’s reassuring to know that the materials come with solid manufacturer warranties. Below we provide a summary of typical warranty coverage by material type and brand. These warranties underscore the confidence manufacturers have in their products’ longevity.

Wood (Pressure-Treated Pine & Cedar)
Wood is naturally durable, and with proper treatment and maintenance, it can last for decades outdoors. While there’s no single manufacturer tied to our wood materials, most pressure-treated and cedar wood products follow standard warranty ranges.
Pressure-Treated Pine
- Typically covered by a 15-year limited warranty against rot, decay, and termites.
- Proper sealing and care can extend lifespan to 15–20+ years.
- Example: YellaWood offers a 15-year limited warranty.
Cedar Wood
- Naturally rot-resistant and does not require chemical treatment.
- Often expected to last 15–20 years with proper upkeep.
- Some mills offer limited warranties (commonly 15 years).
For wood products, just contact us if you notice issues; we’ll coordinate the warranty process and reinstall any affected parts if needed.
Composite (Fiberon, Trex, TimberTech, AZEK)
Composite decking and fencing materials are engineered for exceptional durability and come with some of the strongest warranties in the industry, ranging from 25 years to lifetime, depending on the brand and product line.
TimberTech / AZEK
- TimberTech AZEK (PVC) comes with a Limited Lifetime Product Warranty.
- 50-year fade and stain coverage.
TimberTech Pro® and Edge® lines include 25–30 year warranties depending on the product.
Fiberon
- Lifetime limited performance warranty on premium lines (e.g. Promenade®, Concordia®).
- 50-year fade and stain warranty on select products.
- 25-year warranty on other product lines for residential use.
Trex
- 25-year limited warranty for residential use.
- 25-year fade and stain warranty for high-performance deck boards.
- Coverage includes structural defects, excessive fading, and staining.
Aluminum (Iron World Fencing)
Iron World’s aluminum fences are powder-coated for strength and longevity, backed by long-term warranty protection.
Iron World
- 20-year limited warranty on aluminum fence systems.
- Covers peeling, cracking, and rust-through under normal conditions.
- Environmental conditions (e.g. salt exposure) may affect coverage scope.
If your aluminum fence coating or structure fails under warranty, we’ll take care of the replacement and labor.
Vinyl (Barrette, Gallagher, Shoreline, Trex Railings)
Vinyl fences and railing systems are designed to resist weather, fading, and wear, with most products covered for life.
Barrette Outdoor Living
- Limited lifetime warranty for single-family homes.
- Transferable once to the next homeowner.
- Covers cracking, peeling, rotting, and manufacturing defects.
Shoreline Vinyl & Trex Railings
- Shoreline Vinyl offers lifetime coverage against fading, warping, and cracking.
- Trex railings follow the same 25-year coverage as their decking: fade, stain, and structural protection.
Gallagher
- Lifetime warranty through top-tier vinyl manufacturers (e.g. Homeland Vinyl).
- Covers rot, corrosion, cracking, and performance failure

For any vinyl fencing or railing concerns, just contact us, we’ll process the warranty and take care of the reinstallation.
How to Request Warranty Support
If you notice something that doesn’t look right, simply reach out to us. We’ll schedule a quick visit to inspect the issue and determine the cause.
If the problem was caused by installation, we will repair or replace the affected area at no cost to you.
Most visits and repairs are handled quickly, and our goal is always to solve the issue with as little inconvenience to you as possible.
